About us
Further down you will see the history of the company from 1938 until 2013.

1938

The GRUMBACH family business was founded in 1938 as a workshop for sanitary heating and plumbing in Wetzlar. The company's founder was Karl Grumbach, father of the present owner, Emil Grumbach.

1965
The workshop becomes an industrial enterprise
During the 1950s GRUMBACH was already devising and putting into effect solutions to problems arising in the workplace, but primarily for its own use. However it was quickly recognised that these solutions might also be of interest to people in other workshops. Since 1965 they have manufactured and sold installation elements or sanitary prefabrications and drainage units for roofs and balconies.

1972
The second generation headed by Emil Grumbach takes over leadership of the enterprise
Emil Grumbach As well as long years of experience the company has an ability to develop innovative products in-house in response to problems presented by customers. The company function of "Research and Development" was always the number one success factor and mainstay of the company. And the company has always understood that the innovation and development of products is of the greatest importance for the successful continuation of the company through good and hard times. This quality is embodied in the person who entered the company as an apprentice in 1947 and took over the running of the company in 1972.

Amongst the most important of Emil Grumbach's developments are:

The Sanitary Mounting Block product group consists of two complete series which are:
